Tropping we are going to Macclesfield Forest, oh yes. Heading to the East side of Cheshire, the out wak group headed up into those hills above Macclesfield for a nice up and down walk around the forest. Following a visit a few months earlier to see the place, the small group who attended head up and over through the trees for a nice wonder and nice views around. be warned though the decent down from Tegg's Nose car park is nice, it a blooming climb back up. Sorry guys.

I did find parts of the wood quiet interesting as it varied from deciduous woodland to coniferous woodland, small buildings, laid out paths, as well as small dirt tracks. Not quiet sure what you were going to find and nice and quiet as well. It could be peaceful but for us walking.
