Beeston & Peckforton Hills

Beeston, what a lovely area of Cheshire. Following our trip to Crosby, Mark suggested a trip to Beeston. Although we did not go inside the castle itself, we followed the paths around the Castle and up over Peckforton Hill. It was another lovely day out. A place need to explore more.

Our walk took us around behind Beeston Castle across the local fields and then back up over the hill through the woodlands that encircle Peckforton Castle.
